It has been forever since I last visited you. I wish I had read that things were looking up for you. You mentioned in one post that you had set a date for an eviction. Please follow through. You don't owe him anything. If he's homeless and without finances maybe that's the kick in the arse he needs. But he's not your responsibilty. You've done more than enough. You need a life free of a burden that once promised to be a helpmate.

I'm so sorry to hear all the sadness that you have had dumped into your life. But it does sound like in the midst of the sad things some very phenomenal things have happened too and I know that you can and will persevere through it all. Wishing the best to you dear dragon.

We can see their potential future because we've lived ours.
The lure of the sunshine and freedom is powerful at that age...especially when they cannot (yet) see their future.
Maybe a compromise? Maybe a summer of freedom given without repression and then she must buckle down?
You know best. But oh do remember the lure of the Sun and freedom and how it blinds to everything else. Life comes fast with all that it throws at us. I treaure the times I can look back on where I was just--free.
